Hi there! My name is Zuzana Remenarova; I am a 3D game character artist studying at the University of Hertfordshire. I am focusing on realism, exploring all aspects of the character pipeline combined with complex studies of how real life works so I can imitate it better.
I want to pursue a career that will lead me to work among artists that love the creative field the same way I do.

A Greco/futuristic guard made for a playable game Kularos. The Rookies selected our project as one of the finalists!

A new character - a WIP for a game cinematic Insurrection: London (final year project)

I have to make her face asymmetric and add more secondary details, tertiary and pores using layers, and microdetails on the arms and areas which are going to be visible. Export clothes after simulation with shoes as part of the avatar, clean topology, sculpt microdetails and finish hair base.

After that, retopology, UV, baking, texturing and hair creation - going back and forth between the engine to see how it looks and progresses.

An industry professional specialising in hair advised me to avoid using plugins and fancy software to create hair so that I can do my job when given software straight from the box. I also have to have a shader that allows me to edit colours. When planning the hair sheet, I defined slicked-back gelled hair with flowy hair and quickly sketched more variation than needed, so I have to pick 16/24 best suitable after I finish my blackout in ZBrush to decide better what specific hair chunks I'll need to create.

Concept of the character I am working from, I make iterations to create a better silhouette and so it looks more functional.

On the right, there are sketches of different ideas I had.

Art is a journey, and enjoying the process is essential! The quick artwork below shows my passions and what I love.
